Collection, processing and use of personal data

The legal basis for collecting, storing and processing personal data is found in particular in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (Art. 4 No. 1 GDPR). This includes in particular names, address details, telephone numbers or e-mail addresses. However, information about preferences, memberships or, for example, previously visited websites can also represent personal data.

The legal basis for processing is the need to carry out pre-contractual measures in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR. We delete the data arising in this context after storage is no longer necessary, or restrict processing if there are legal storage obligations.
As part of (online) applications, we collect personal data about you. This includes in particular your personal data such as contact information as well as information about your education, work experience, knowledge and skills. You also have the option of providing us with documents such as certificates, curriculum vitae, cover letter or others. This information is only used by the HR manager at UPWIRE Holding GmbH and exclusively for the application process you are seeking. If your application is unsuccessful, this data will be deleted three months after completion of the application process, unless you have expressly agreed to storage for a longer period of time.
The legal basis for processing is Art. 88 DSGVO in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship.

Your rights

You have the following rights vis-à-vis us with regard to personal data concerning you:

  • right to correction or deletion,
  • right to restrict processing,
  • right to object to processing,
  • Right to data portability.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.

Sharing with third parties

We transfer your personal data to third parties insofar as this is necessary to execute orders or process payments. In addition, in accordance with applicable laws, information or transfer of data could also take place in order to fulfill the legal functions of state authorities, e.g. for the purpose of law enforcement. The legal basis for the transfer is the need to fulfill a contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR and to fulfill a legal obligation subject to the person responsible in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 c) GDPR. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes without your express consent.

Web analysis with Google (Universal) Analytics

Our website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland) (www.google.de). We have included YouTube videos on our website, which are available on http://www.YouTube.com are saved and can be played directly from our website.
